Playwriting

Collateral
When an established female writer follows dating advice from a woman's magazine and goes man hunting in a library, her subtext gets her more than she bargained for...his thesis.

Originally written in the lab at the Ensemble Studio Theatre and developed at Emerging Artists Theatre Company, Collateral is a ten minute play for two actors. Great for festivals and scene study class. It's is a perfect piece for actors and directors interested in physical comedy.

Paint Me Purple
Martha is 91. Kelly is 19. On the night that they both almost die, these unlikely bedfellows begin a journey that takes them from the Harlem Renaissance to the Hamptons battling vampires with brief cases and the monsters within. When the metaphorical and the literal collide and secret letters are stolen, you need lime jello, a cup of coffee, some antlers, and a scrapbook to to believe in love again. So before you paint that final portrait remember that Picasso is way gooder than Gershwin and the gift of healing love comes in some pretty unlikely packages...relatively speaking.
